Frank founded Whitestone Associates in 1992. He brings over 25 years of global business proficiency, financial transactions on four continents, and successful transactions with international Fortune 500 companies to his role as Whitestone’s Senior Managing Director. His expertise in acquisitions, divestitures, and capital funding for small to mid-sized clients benefit the domestic and international niche markets in which Whitestone caters.
Frank shares his expert knowledge and passion for teaching as adjunct professor at Adelphi University’s Graduate School of Business, instructing MBA students on courses regarding entrepreneurship and strategic management. He has authored articles on financial and managerial resources for business journals.
A native New Yorker, Frank earned both an MBA and MS from Hofstra University, and a BS from the State University of New York.
Richard is a noted business leader and dynamic visionary with extensive senior management experience. For over two decades, he served as President and/or CEO of domestic and international multi-million dollar companies with a track record of over 40 transactions in mergers/acquisitions, divestitures and global expansion through joint ventures. Richard authored over 75 business plans, information memorandums and offering memorandums, and brings expert mergers-and-acquisitions and strategic planning knowledge to his 10+ years at Whitestone.
His operational and mergers-and-acquisitions background includes serving as president of a portfolio company for the New York-based leveraged buyout firm, Forstmann, Little & Company, while his additional financial headship highlights experience as lending officer for asset-based and structured-finance banks in Chicago.
He holds a BS in Marketing from Indiana University and currently serves as director of a Midwest consulting firm that specializes in advising early-stage companies that develop leading-edge technologies.
Larry brings decades experience to the firm having served as president and/or CEO of marketplace distribution for more than 35 years. He is currently President of Activity Mobility of Ohio, a Northwest Ohio provider of durable medical equipment, and currently serves as Board Chair of Kenakore Solutions. He also serves on the Board Chair of Pro Medical Health System, a ten-hospital integrated health care system located in Northwest Ohio and SoutheasternMichigan.
In 1993, Larry founded Distribution Solutions, an electronic service bureau for the industrial distribution marketplace that merged with MROI Software in 1998 and was subsequently purchased by IBM. In 1997, he was instrumental in the establishment of Depot Direct, d.b.a. Kenakore Solutions—an electronic commerce driven warehousing and logistics fulfillment center serving various segments in the industrial, health care and higher-education marketplace. He is former President and Board Chair of Sentinel Fluid Controls, a distributor of fluid power systems for the Midwest’s mobile and industrial marketplaces. He was president and CEO of Midwest Fluid Power Company in Toledo, Ohio since 1981, a distributor of fluid power products and systems, after having been with the company since 1974.
Larry earned degrees in international studies from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois and in foreign trade from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona.
Jeff brings three decades of broad based, senior leadership experience to Whitestone, with global manufacturing companies selling through distribution.
He spent nearly 21 years with Eaton Corporation, most recently as Senior Vice President and General Manager—Products & Markets—Hydraulics Division. While at Eaton he led the global Marketing and Engineering teams and was directly involved in over a dozen strategic acquisitions, from strategy creation through successful integration, for the $3B business unit. Prior to Eaton he spent 8 years with The Stanley Works in commercial and operational roles of increasing responsibility.
Key to his experience is an extensive knowledge of channel dynamics and the critical role distribution plays in serving end users. He understands the importance of distributor/manufacturer relationships and the need to create value to sustain growth.
In addition to Whitestone, Jeff currently is a member of the Board of Directors for a privately held manufacturer focused on the Industrial and Aerospace markets. He is also very active with United Way.
He holds a BBA degree from the University of Toledo and an MBA from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad School of Business.
